What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Which institutions already publish magazines like yours? 

The institutions that publish a similar magazine are Top of the Pops and Pop magazine. These two magazines already publish a magazine that would be very similar to Poptastic magazine.  However I do feel that there is a small gap in the market for a magazine like Poptastic because   the magazine will offer a different look at the Pop music. The Poptastic will offer are readers a brand new ways to look at the topics that will be are magazine.

 

Popstar  magazine is a similar  magazine to the magazine that I have  created. Popstar magazine offers a inside look  at the life of famous stars in the world today. The magazine not only looks at the life of the famous stars in Britain, but also the stars in America like Taylor lautner, Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato.

Teen Now magazine looks at the life of the celebrities and it offers a wide range of interviews from the stars. Teen now magazine is similar to my magazine because it looks at the life of music stars and sees what the music stars are doing at the moment. The magazine also  offers fashion pages and movies reviews on the movies that are coming out.  However teen now offers the look into movies stars as well, where as my magazine focus on music.

Bliss is a magazine that offers gossip about the stars whether they are in the music or acting. Also  my magazine offers pages on fashion and  any problems that girls might be facing  like the Bliss magazine.  Poptastic also offers the reader a looking into reviews on movies, books and albums just like the Bliss magazine.

Top of the Pop magazine gives the reader an inside look at the life of the music stars today Top of the Pop magazine offers the reader exclusive interviews with the stars and a chance to look at the stars lives. The magazine tells the reader about the albums and singles that are out at the time of the magazine. Top of the pop magazine is vary similar to Poptastic magazine because both magazines are based around Pop music and the stars that sing Pop music.

Why would a company want to distribute your magazine?

A company would want to distribute my magazine because my magazine would bring the company that was selling my magazine more income and would make the company more profit.  Once my magazine Poptastic is out the market teenagers between 13 and 15 are going to want to buy the poptastic.  The company will also want to distribute my magazine because it will offer a wide ranger of Pop bands and artistes.  My magazine will offer fans of the artist a look into the life of the person or persons to see what their life’s are like. I really feel that my magazine Poptastic will be really good investment for another company because it gives the teenage girl the information they are looking for. The company will be glad to sell my magazine because I feel that my magazine could compete to down with the magazines that are on sell at the moment, for example Popstar and Top of the Pops.
