Content pages

The name of the magazine is Kerrang. The contents page has a column of writing, which contains the page numbers. You have a heading for each section; the person would know it is a new heading because the heading is in red. The headings are also in capital letters. For example, feedback and Rated: Albums. The contents page tells the reader the magazine is weekly because it says this week. The information the magazine has is black writing because the reader needs to be able to understand what the heading is and what the information is. The contents page contains some information about the editor of the magazine. The magazine has a main picture of a girl; the picture is in the middle of the page.  The picture is in black and white to create a different effect. You then have three small pictures in colour across the top of the page.


The name of the magazine is Q, it is issue March 2010/the contents page has the page number of the article/ section you are looking for. It has the heading of the article and then it has a little caption underneath the heading to tell the read what the article is going to be about.  “The three ladies who make up the group this week explain who the hell…. They are.” The content page like the front cover also has animation on it. The animation I feel for this content page was used to create the reader a funny picture to look at. The page contains photographs for a preview of what the magazine contains on those pages.  The magazine contains a review of a band and what the band is like to listen to. The content s page contains lots of photographs to keep the page interesting to the read as it is the first page of the magazine.
