I have moved the photograph in , so it is between the text space.  I have alsoed moved the  quto  slightly futher down.

I have  made the master heading bigger and made it go across the top of the page.  I have moved the price closer to the issue number and bar code.  I have also moved  the star with the information slightly futher down.  Do you like this style or the front cover i had before? What do you think?

I have changed the colour background  behind the contents title and my editors message.  which one do you prefer.  The pink behind the contents and editors message or the blue behind.

Weekly review

This week I have been still working on some changes to my front cover, double page spread and contents page.  The changes that I have made to my front cover the text size, the style of text, the colour of text, the photograph and moving the texts.  My double page spread I have taken away the background colour, changes the yellow texts to  a purple colour. I have also added a welcome message and a ending message.   To my contents page I have change my master heading, so that all my master headings are the same.  I have add a editors message and a photograph.  I have  also added a the name   of the editor as well.  This week  I am going to carry on  make a few changes to my pages, check that the audience like what I have done to my pages and  do my evaluation.

The Contents page change

I have made change to my contents page because I noticed that my master heading that I have used on my front cover and double page spread was different to the master heading I had used on my contents page. I had used the master heading that had a lighter pink background and a lighter pink  for the colouring in of the master heading.  I have changed the master head colouring so that it is the same as my other pages.

What do you think of the changes I have made to my front cover.  I have changed the the style of the text on my front cover to different style than Times New Roman.  My Candy Girls cover line was cover the face of one of the girls, so I moved the cover line a bit futher down.  I have changed the background photograph because I noticed the girl that is sitting on the top step had her eyes closed on the photograph, so I changed the photograph, so that  the girl had her eyes open.  I have also changed the colour of the text that I have used  on the front colour. The coverlines that have a dark pink background now have the text in a white colour, this is to make the colour of the text standed out to the reader.  With the information that has a blue background I have changed the text colour to the dark pink.  Also  the information that I had put into the star did quite fit into the box, so I made the information in the box a small font and I have made the star shape bigger to fit the information inside the star. What do you think?

I have add to my contents page a picture of my face as i am the editor, which contents page do you prefer the most.

Double page spread

Here are some of the changes that i have made with my double page spread.  i have take the background colour away because the text colour clashed with the background colour. I have also put a welcome and goodbye message on the double page spread as well.

I have done some changes to the fianle contents page. I have changed that font sizes. I have added an editors bit on my contents page. Do you like the changes that i have made.

Double page spread drafts

Here are some drafts for my double page spread.  What do you think?  Because the background colours are really dark, i have tryed  a lighter pink and  light purple.   I have done a basic draft of where i would put the master heading, the band name, the article,  heading and photographs.

Weekly review

This week I have created my front cover and my double page spread. I am just waiting for some audience feedback to see what i need to do to improve my front cover, double page spread and contents page. I have  experimented with the use of colour to see what colours i liked the mosted on the pages.  I have tryed to use different texts and colour to create a different feel on each page. With my use of colour i kept my target audience of 13-15 in mind.

Here is my contents page. What do you think about my contents page?   I still need to add two more pictures on to the page. With the colours on my page I tryed to stick to the colours that i have used on my double page spread and front cover.  I have also  tryed to put colour on my texted to make it bold and colourful, so that it stands out on to the page.

Front cover

Here is the finale  front cover that i have create.  I have used bright colours to catch the eye of my target audience, so that the colours will bring the audience into the magazine. The magzine front cover has interressting  cover lines to catch the eye of the reader to make them wanted to read the magazine.

weekly review

This week i have done the drafting of my pages. I have done really basic drafts for the front cover, contents page and 1 double page spread. For my front cover I did a basic draft and then  i did a basic draft with the words that I will use for my proper front cover.  Then I did a draft where i added the  photographs in the places where i think i would have them in my really front cover.  For my contents page i have done a basic draft and then i have done a draft with  me adding my contents.  I had already create what i wanted to put on my contents page i just had to added  and change the page numbers around. I also add subheadings to each new chapter. My next task for my content page was  to add the photographs that i was think of having on my contents page.  I have done a basic draft for my layout design. Then i have done two different styles of a double page spread. However my background colour for my double page spread on my drafts was to dark. So at  i have put on the same post two more double page spreads with a lighter colour background. I think my drafting of my pages has gone really well.
